MIXING OF BULK MATERIALS AND POWDERS VERTICAL MIXING EQUIPMENT (VMZ)

Vertical mixing equipment is designed for mixing bulk mixtures, powder blends, protein bases, and other loose materials in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, animal feed, and other industrial sectors.

Volume Flexibility

A key advantage of this type of mixing equipment, besides its precision and quality, is the ability to mix as little as 30% of the total working volume of the conical vessel while maintaining the same quality and blendability as a full load. This level of flexibility is rarely achievable with horizontal mixing systems.

Easy Cleaning

This vertical system is the only mixing equipment on the market that allows for quick removal (30 seconds) and reinsertion of the mixing element – the screw agitator. Thanks to this system, the device is very easy and precise to clean and sanitize, allowing for frequent product changes. Operating Principle

Vertical mixing equipment operates on a planetary vertical mixing principle, where the screw agitator rotates around its own axis and lifts the material from the bottom of the conical vessel upwards. The arm of the mixing equipment, on which the screw agitator is mounted, rotates around the central axis of the conical vessel, ensuring thorough mixing of the bulk mixture throughout the entire volume.

- Mixing of slightly viscous pasty mixtures (water + bulk materials) – e.g., production of fillers, paints, and coatings.
- Liquid injection via nozzle into the mixed bulk mixture.
- Double jacket (jacketed vessel) for heating the vessel walls and the mixed mixture.

Material and Production Range

Material (contact surfaces): All parts in contact with the product are made of stainless steel AISI 304 or AISI 316 (brushed or polished).
Other parts: The drive and frame are painted with durable food-grade paint according to the customer's preference.

Placement and use of vertical mixing equipment in a processing line

The vertical mixing equipment can stand on its own pedestal or be integrated into a floor/ceiling structure. Raw material loading is done from the top into the open lid of the machine (manually or via conveyor). Discharge is through the bottom (manual or pneumatic valve) directly into packaging or downstream conveyors.
